Meet Steve - Bandsintown’s Event Data Specialist
Hi, my name is Steve, and I manage the event collection platform here at Bandsintown.
It's my job to make sure we are successfully collecting event data from our ticketing vendors, as well as integrating new ticket vendors to ensure that our fans all over the globe never miss a live show. I'm also involved with our affiliate partnerships, and work with our venue platform.
I've been involved with the music scene since the late 90's. I co-managed an independent music store for several years, then worked at the largest independent music distributor in Canada, before becoming the head buyer for one of the largest vinyl record stores in Canada.
I feel very fortunate to continue to work in the music industry, and for the opportunity I've been granted here at Bandsintown.
First Concert You Ever Attended: The Ripcordz
First Concert You Ever Bought a Ticket for Yourself (without a parent or guardian): Bad Religion

Favorite Guilty Pleasure Band or Artist: I honestly don't have one
Best Live Music Moment You Ever Experienced (and why): Opening for Social Distortion at the Spectrum in 1997.
