Introducing Bandsintown for Artists
Introducing Free Tools To Help Build A Live Music Fanbase
If you've logged into your Bandsintown Manager account over the last few days, you may have noticed quite a few changes and improvements. Today we're ready to share them with you and the world.
What you've known as Bandsintown Manager has been relaunched as Bandsintown for Artists. This revamped platform reflects Bandsintown's ongoing commitment to help artists at every phase of their career and features a range of new features and improvements that aim to enhance the connection between artists and fans through the communal experience of live music.
Starting today, Bandsintown for Artists is available free to the more than 510,000 registered artists on the platform, making it easier than ever to upload your tour dates and promote your shows to our 50 Million registered users as well as fans visiting Billboard, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon Alexa, and more.
Improved Geo-Targeted Messaging
Most music services don’t allow artists to message their fans directly, and the majority of social media platforms rely on algorithms to determine who sees a post. This creates barriers between the artist and their fans.
To break down those walls, Bandsintown has expanded our free direct-to-fan messaging tool which allows artists to message their trackers directly through email and push notifications. New posting capabilities include scheduling and geo-targeting messages by location. That means that you can now send more personalized messages to fans on Bandsintown, and sync them across Facebook and Twitter simultaneously.
In addition to letting fans know about tour dates, you can use Bandsintown’s free direct messaging service to promote new music releases, videos, merch, and more. All of your messages will be delivered alongside the many top artists that already post to fans using Bandsintown including Ariana Grande, David Guetta, Death Cab for Cutie, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z, Pitbull, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, Twenty One Pilots, and Zac Brown Band.
As always, all data collected is shared with artists and their teams, at no cost, on the Bandsintown for Artists analytics platform.
