Bandsintown Analytics, Now With Ticket Lead Data!

Plus A New Standalone Solution Specifically For Booking Agencies

Jesse Rosoff is a booking agent for United Talent Agency, representing LA-based Mr Little Jeans. When booking Mr Little Jeans' upcoming November dates on the west coast, Jesse combined their Bandsintown tracker data showing a concentration of 44K local fans with other metrics in his digital toolbox (Spotify plays, Facebook likes, Twitter followers), to successfully execute confirmations in relevant markets. “It’s absolutely a necessary tool to prove what you’re selling,” said Jesse. “Bandsintown Analytics shows there is demand and interest.”

We introduced Bandsintown Analytics earlier this year as a free tool in Bandsintown Manager to help artists and agents like Jesse understand where an artist’s fans are located, what cities have the most fan demand and what upcoming shows have the highest number of RSVP’s. Over the last few months, our work with agents like Jesse compelled us to extend Bandsintown Analytics further.

Today, we are bringing ticket click data to Bandsintown Analytics, showing the number of concert-goers who have clicked through to purchase a ticket to an upcoming show. This data is incredibly powerful, as it indicates purchase intent for each artist by source and per tour date showing what digital properties are generating the most leads. For example, artists with the Bandsintown Tour Dates Widget installed on their website will know how many leads originated there and can compare to ticket leads generated from the Bandsintown Concerts app as well as the tour dates tab of their Facebook page. These performance metrics will greatly enhance digital marketing efforts, so music marketers can focus on the highest performing lead generator.

Steven Barnett who handles digital strategy at Atom Factory has praised the update as well. "The detailed ticketing data provided on the platform is a vital asset that allows us to make more informed decisions as managers."

We are also introducing a standalone analytics solution for booking agents and music industry professionals who serve as integral members of an artist’s development team.

Bandsintown Analytics for booking agencies:

  • Helps agents book more shows and improves management’s oversight into an artist’s career development.

  • Provides talent agents who represent a large roster of artists with access to one comprehensive dashboard showing concert-goer trends.

  • Integrates Bandsintown Promoter to allow quick and simple event promotion, to drive more ticket sales.

If you are an artist or manager with admin access to your artist page on Facebook, you will see this information in your Analytics tab in Bandsintown Manager on Facebook. Just make sure you have at least 100 trackers.

If you are a booking agent you can sign up for an account by visiting analytics.bandsintown.com.
