The Smart Link is a free webpage automatically generated by Bandsintown that is unique to every artist. This page shows your upcoming events while driving live stream views, ticket sales and fan engagement.
You can share your Smart Link short URL on Facebook in 2 different ways:
1. HOW TO SHARE Your Smart Link ON a FACEBOOK POST
Click on the Facebook icon on the popup window. It will redirect you to the Facebook account you are logged into. If you don’t have any, it will redirect you to the Login/Signup page.
If you are logged into a Facebook account and you manage more than one, make sure you are posting your promo page on the correct account. To do so, first, click on the blue button ‘Share to News Feed or Story’, at the top of the popup window. Choose the option ‘Share on a Page You Manage’ from the dropdown menu.
After that, click on the button indicating a dropdown menu. Choose the account you’d like to post the promo page on.
Once on the correct Facebook account, paste the short URL (Facebook will generate a preview of the link). You can post as a normal post on your News Feed and/or as a Story.
Whenever your fans click on the image or on the link, they will be redirected to the promo page.
2. HOW TO ADD Your smart link ON your FACEBOOK BIO
Click on the Facebook icon on the popup window. It will redirect you to the Facebook account you are logged into. If you don’t have any, it will redirect you to the Login/Signup page.
