Save The Live Touring Industry

Without long term support during these challenging times, the landscape of the entire live touring industry could change permanently, negatively impacting artists, touring personnel, agents, managers, and independent venues across the entire U.S.

In view of this, the National Independent Talent Organization (NITO) is issuing an urgent call to action to lobby for independent music industry professionals by supporting passage of the RESTART Act on the next pandemic relief bill.

The RESTART Act includes a new loan program to provide funding to cover 6 months of payroll, benefits, and fixed operating expenses for businesses that have taken a substantial revenue hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. A share of the loan will be forgiven based on the revenue losses suffered by the business in 2020 with the remainder being repaid over 7 years. No interest payments are due in the first year, and no principal payments are due for the first two years. At its core, this program is designed to provide small-and-medium-sized businesses with liquidity to get their businesses up and running again and ensure that they receive loan forgiveness to help fill in the gap caused by revenue declines.

To all musicians, managers, and music industry professionals, we invite you to join us today and get involved. By clicking on the button below, you can contact Congress to help keep this community alive until we can meet on tour again.
