Pearl Jam, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Green Day, Ani DiFranco and More Team Up For “GivingTuesday”
We’re excited to announce today that more than 20+ artists have joined charitable fundraising platform Fandiem in partnership with Bandsintown for GivingTuesday on November 30, 2021!
Pearl Jam, Weezer, Green Day, Amy Lee (Evanescence), Ani DiFranco, Jack Johnson, Imagine Dragons, Billy Strings, Willie Nelson, My Morning Jacket, Umphrey’s McGee, Big Gigantic, Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), and Big Head Todd and the Monsters are among those who have donated special items or personal experiences with fans donating to win covetable once-in-a-lifetime prizes. From signed guitars to backstage meet & greets to VIP concert trips, these offerings have us swooning.
Created with the goal of inspiring music fans to support their favorite artists in giving back to worthy causes, Fandiem funds raised are donated to a partner-supported nonprofit identified for each drop. Which non-profits will be supported through this campaign, you ask? The Tyler Robinson Foundation, REVERB, Sweet Relief, The Upside Fund, Sidewalk Angels, Conscious Alliance, Vitalogy Foundation, and Jamsz Konnections, covering causes ranging from pediatric cancer to healthcare for musicians.
Fandiem Co-Founder Alex Machurov said, “We’re excited to partner with our friends at Bandsintown on this Giving Tuesday campaign project. We’re harnessing the giving power of both fans and a range of boldface artists, who’ve come together in an unprecedented way to make donations that, in turn, generate needed funds. The Fandiem platform was launched to support artists at a difficult time, so it’s especially meaningful to join with artists and their nonprofits of choice to help others.”
This past July, Bandsintown launched Bandsintown for Good as a way to get our 65+ million users involved in our mission to make the world a better place through the power of live music. “We are delighted to partner with Fandiem and such great artists for this Giving Tuesday,'' says Fabrice Sergent, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Bandsintown. “Live music brings us together, and Bandsintown’s fans are always willing to support causes to make the world better.”
